The Poet…. (and his poetry).
One of my passions has always been poetry. I see this same trait in some of my Godly heroes.
King David, for example, was a pretty cool guy – he had the heart of a conquering warrior – and yet he was also a deeply emotional, sensitive and artistic poet whom the scriptures call “The Sweet Psalmist of Israel” (2 Samuel 23:1)
I believe that this dichotomy of strength and vulnerability is a hallmark hat reflects some of God in it – who is at the same time God almighty but who chooses to make himself vulnerable for the purpose of relationship with you. He is a conqueror, and he is also the most emotional “person” in the universe!
I hope to me able to post some of my poetry on this Blog – and hope that you will appreciate what has proceeded from my heart: The issues of (my) life.
