Moving this idea forward - we could expand this thing from just dealing with books, to include PDFs online, online messages/teachings etc.
Its a good idea this is very similar to the training for leaders in cell church.
Can be modified to local settings and should be run apart from church meetings if to be used for house church then a mother cell should be implmented then as it picks up and people are trained then the cell is divided and the whole process starts again.
This would create and train further leaders so the church can expand also means it stops being a one man show. Biblically it is set out on the dicipleship plan that Jesus himself used and instructed the believers to use.
It is cost efective most books can be bought on offer at amazon if the house church structure is maintained it means no great expence to run the church means extra money to invest in training people. Also long weekend meetings can be arranged to cover specific topics to accelerate growth. Can be done and adjusted so the overall leader is not over stretched.
