Global Day of Prayer: Report

Yesterday saw us celebrating the Global Day of Prayer. A group of around twenty-five assembled from various fellowships in Gibraltar for a marvelous time in prayer. This was our first participation in the GDOP and we had organized the event in a "boiler-room" kind of atmosphere, with different prayer focus-points – Intercession, prayer requests, worship etc. We had a lovely extended time where everyone just flowed beautifully among the different focus points. The day began at 11:00am and went through until 6:00pm The Holy Spirit just orchestrated things beautifully as we then moved into protracted times of worship, prayer and intercession as a ministry to the Lord.

Freedom flowed supreme, as people’s hearts were encouraged, others were set free to flow in measures of ministry that they had not seen in some time.

This event has so positively impacted those in attendance that most of those present are now determined to not do this only once a year! There is a hunger to here now to have these types of prayer gatherings much more regularly!
