Fellowship meal - Gibraltar churches.
June 20, 2006 by John Baw
On Sunday night we had a blast at the combined fellowship meal of several churches in Gibraltar. Six churches came together for a night of fellowship, generally having a blast, and of course…PAELLA!!! This was a first for us in Gibraltar, and we had such a good time that I am sure that this will only be the first of many such events. Gosh I still cannot forget that paella! Funniest thing was that we collected it from a restaurant called the "Seawave" at "Catalan Bay" a beach mini-village on the east side of the Rock - we loaded the huge "paelleras" (Paella dishes - large things where the rice is cooked with all its condiments etc) onto several cars and returned to the hall that we had hired in order to feed over 90 hungry souls. Part of the trek back involved navigating a couple of steep slopes, the result of which was that generous servings of paella ended up on the back seat of my car! Photos follow….
Erm - games…or whatever it was - Fun!
More games - Thanks to these guys for all their hard work and effort - you guys rock!
Yes Theo you’re on the internet - you thought you would get away from me didn’ ya?
Aaron and Eli Baw - Goofin’ again!
Chatin’….and chattin’….and chattin’…..
Keith….after a good helping of paella
