I am pumped!
Had a tremendous meeting yesterday! The presence of the Lord graced us and it was awesome! I taught on ‘Pursuing passion in the end times’. You can download the teaching notes from our church website here.
I feel a shift comin’ on
For better or for worse, this blog will record the highs and lows of this leap of faith - with a focus on church planting within the context of urban missions, constant prayer and revival.
New look (Again)
I have today revamped my entire blog. I have updated the blog engine itself to Wordpress 2.0, and with it I have installed a new theme - the new look also means a new direction for the blog itself. I shall be sharing on a redefining of the blog’s purpose and content later […]

Elijah Escapes…….
And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow […]
Elijah prayed……..
“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit”. (James 5:17-18)
Elijah prays….and heavenly realities shift in response […]
Healing - An Adventure into the Impossible. an article by Bill Johson
When Jesus walked the earth, people believed that sickness was from the devil, and that healing was from God. Things have dramatically changed in two thousand years. Now, many think affliction is allowed and sometimes sent by God to build character, and those who pursue the ministry of healing are deceived by the devil. While […]

Happy Birthday Leigh!!!
Spent Saturday afternoon hanging out with my immediate and extended family for my nephew Leigh’s birthday celebration. He is one cool kid! He’s even a bit of a martial arts guy!
Come to think of it ….my family is pretty amazing! Quite a gang. More than a family, it gets to be like […]

The diet
Ok I am not a happy camper. I have started to diet…..yes……do not even mentioned the f**d word to me. It is back to the gym, the weights, the elliptic machine, and yes, protein shakes, carb-control and like.
Anyway, looking around for inspiration and support, I found this from CNN. Apparently the […]
You are His Workmanship
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
We are God’s workmanship. The Greek word for “Workmanship” is the word “Poiema” from where we get our word “Poem”. As you read this today, do you realize that […]
Open Doors Church
This picture is of a Government building here in Gibraltar. It got me thinking. The sign says "Public entrance" yet the branches and growth of the surrounding trees are effectively barring the entrance creating an impassable, uninviting yet unofficial "barrier". We all proclaim to the four winds that we have an open doors church, […]
All nations, tribes, peoples and tongues?
Interesting thought came from this sign near my home here in Gibraltar. The desire for constancy in our lives often translates into the creation of homogeneity in our churches. As the sign indicates, anything that does not meet the desired characteristics, dimensions and criteria is automatically clamped, immobilized, arrested and frustrated.
Do we have preconceived stinking […]
Well I never…….
My spiritual DNA:
You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the […]
Just plain bizarre!
From the BBC newsdesk: Stroke gives woman foreign accent - A woman has recovered from a stroke only to find her distinctive Newcastle accent has changed to a Jamaican one.
I read the article and thought that this was surely a joke! But it is not! "Foreign Accent Syndrome" actually exists! Read-up on this here and […]
The sanitized church
A recent slashdot article leads with the CBC story that an overly sanitized environment may lead to poor health. This has always been one of those gut-feeling truths that we all embrace despite no affirmative proof to validate it…….until now.
I wonder whether in the church we strive to create overly spiritually sanitized environments to […]
