For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
We are God’s workmanship. The Greek word for “Workmanship” is the word “Poiema” from where we get our word “Poem”. As you read this today, do you realize that you are God’s work of art? His masterpiece. The poiema word actually means “Tapestry”.
We can see the beauty of seeing individual threads being woven together as part of a beautiful work of art - a dangerous and powerful work art at that for it will walk within the pre-ordained works of glory that the Father has prepared for His own glory. All of this is yours today in Christ Jesus. Within your Lord, a wonderful hope-filled future is before you, for in Him, God’s masterpiece will indeed bring Him glory.
