Report: The Dews In Colombia – DEWNAMIS MINISTRIES – BILL AND CAROL DEW: (Source: Revival Fire Mailing List)

WARFARE WAS PRETTY INTENSE:
This is such a good example of needing to be receptive at all times to what God is saying and doing. We’ve had more warfare than any other overseas trip we have been on. That’s how we started this trip to Manizales, Colombia. Gary & Kathi Oates had asked us to join them on this missions trip after they finished their trip to Brazil. We were to go in first to do some training with the pastors and leaders, and then they would join us and there would be training and equipping of the whole churches, culminating in a large outreach Sunday afternoon. It started Friday morning as we got up to travel. First, the alarm we set didn’t go off (hmmmm). Then we found out the plane had been changed on the Dallas-Miami leg and we no longer had our good seats, and in fact had been assigned to the back of the plane. God had other plans. The seats we were re-assigned were the seats for the crew on long hauls. A cabin to ourselves and basically business class seats. Yea, God. Moving on however, our luggage didn’t arrive with us in Bogota. It wouldn’t be there until 12:30 the next day and not in time for us to catch the flight to Manizales on another airline. Our translator said we HAD to go early to the airport to fight to get our luggage on that next flight. I thought he was being overly dramatic, but it’s interesting how our experiences and thoughts in the natural are really being guided by the Spirit. He was thinking if we didn’t become a thorn in the airline’s side, it was quite possible they would want to charge us for changing the flight, the luggage wouldn’t get on the next plane, and it could be days before we saw our luggage. It’s that laid back “whatever” attitude.
A WORD FOR MARTA SENDS US FLYING
Turns out he was right. Shows the importance of listening to “that still small voice.” We were sent from office to office until we landed in a supervisor’s office. Now it gets really interesting. Our reservations had somehow “mysteriously” been canceled and they weren’t too sympathetic. When Carol learned the supervisor’s name was Marta, she brightened. It was then she told us she that in her prayer time that morning she got the name Marta, saw the color blue, and she “knew” the woman had pain in her feet. Carol thought it was for the meeting we were to do that night. But, Marta’s office was blue and when Carol asked her if her feet hurt, you should have seen her look of shock. Carol ended up on the floor laying hands on her feet under the desk, tears are flowing, she gets healed and Carol leads her to the Lord. WOW. We got put on the 4 PM flight and everything started to fall back into place. The lesson, be ready in season and out. We have some really great stories of physical and emotional healing during our time in Colombia which we will be sending out soon.
DELIVERANCE AND SOZO EQUIPPING COMING UP
We will be conducting Deliverance Training in a quaint resort town on the northern coast of California called Trinidad on August 4,5. Great opportunity in an idyllic setting to get anointing for this ministry, or to begin the process of getting free. Then, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 10, 11, and 12 we will be teaching on SOZO ministry at Northbay Foursquare Church in Vallejo, CA. Call (707) 677-0958 in Trinidad and (707) 554-8232 in Vallejo for details.
Also, check our NEW LOOK on our website and get all the details on these meetings
on the itinerary page.
Blessings. Bill & Carol Dew
