Change of venue for meetings.

by John Baw on August 2, 2006

For the past three years we have mostly used the meeting room on top of a clerical workers union for out meetings – You can read about this in this post.. This has changed now. For a couple of weeks now we have been using the conference Center of the local Youth Center. This facility, does not give us lots of room for growth, but at the stage we are right now, it is just right and does have air conditioning, which in our climate that is a big deal! So we are enjoying where we are right now, and can still grow some before outgrowing the premises. Another plus is that we do not pay anything for this right now! Yea God!

Although we would love to have our own building, for me it is not the obsessive ‘must have’ that it was once. I believe that we have had our order of priorities a little awry in that we wanted a building in order to function better. I believe the Lord would have us to function as a church and bring an expression of His Kingdom here in this region, and then He will accommodate us with our need for adequate facilities to spearhead different projects and ministries.

See some pics of the ‘new’ facility that are using….
