The glory of God!

This is a picture of the harbour at Gibraltar being engulfed with clouds. Let’s claim this as a prophetic picture shall we? The whole of Gibraltar, and its surrounding region being ENGULFED by God! Apparently there is such a thing as a "morning glory cloud" according to that fascinating and ethereal of organizations, the "Cloud Appreciation Society"
Man the strange stuff I read…….I really have to get a life! Oh sorry I’m digressing. I promise there is a logic to this madness, observe….
2 Chronicles 5:13-14 (The Message) - The priests then left the Holy Place. All the priests there were consecrated, regardless of rank or assignment; and all the Levites who were musicians were there — Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their families, dressed in their worship robes; the choir and orchestra assembled on the east side of the Altar and were joined by 120 priests blowing trumpets. The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God — orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God: Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever! Then a billowing cloud filled The Temple of God. The priests couldn’t even carry out their duties because of the cloud — the glory of God! - that filled The Temple of God.
The forerunner ministry in this instance was extravagant worship and the proclaiming of the GOODNESS of God! That was the fire starter, the spark, if you will. Are we having the same focal point in our attempt to connect with an unbelieving generation?
(I am now going to do the unthinkable to some - yes folks I am going to quote from the NIV - that is, the Nearly-Inspired Version) :
The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the GOOD NEWS of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.
(Luke 16:16)
We have some "too-good-to-be-true" news to share with this generation. When the good news is preached, the result is that everyone is forcing to press-in to it! Are you ready to share this reality, or are you still unaware of what lies underneath your bonnet (US: Hood)? The greatest truth we have yet to come to terms with might well be this:
God is in a good mood!
