Hunger Among The People

A new post by Heidi Baker of Iris Ministries on her blog reads as follows:-
Thousands of people ran to the bush runway, clouds of dirt flying, children laughing and singing. Rolland landed our little Cessna on the rough grass. The joy never ends! The hunger among the people brings delight to the heart of Jesus. Masses came from all over Malawi to worship the One who is altogether beautiful. Thousands have come to meet Jesus and be healed. I called all the deaf to the rickety platform to be healed. All twelve who came forward were miraculously able to hear. What a tremendous time to be alive! During each outreach, Jesus shines His love and glory on the people. We continue to plant churches in the north of Mozambique at an astounding rate. The missions students from fifteen countries have joined our Mozambican pastors and children enabling us to do four outreaches a week. Thousands of Muslims are surrendering their hearts to Jesus.
Thank you for your kindness and prayers. We are believing God for more and more breakthroughs in the Holy Spirit. Love never fails. We are pressing in for more love among us.
Please keep praying for us.
Much love in Jesus,
Heidi
We receive this testimony for our cities and families as well. I dream about what this sort of outpouring would look like here in this region. What would thousands of simple un-institutional spirit-filled churches look like in an area so dominated by institutional religion? How will revival change the social, economic, and even political landscape in what has previously been dubbed a “missionary’s graveyard!” ? How will love prevail out here? God is beginning to give me a glimpse of what it would look like…..and it looks mighty fine! There is a river, whose streams shall make glad the city of God. Care to take a swim with me?
