Saints in the hands of a happy God?

Preaching manFrom the Arctic to the Savannah, the desert to the tropics a new song is being sung. After years of heaviness, gone is the shame and the pain. It dawns on you, you realize its significance, you excitingly anticipate the next step in your adventure with God. No longer are you a Sinner in the hands of an angry God. Golgotha witnessed a pure spotless lamb receiving the pent-up wrath of an “angry God” - Jesus suffered that anger in your place.

What then do we have? What then is the charge? Is there not a cause? You, my friend, are a “Saint in the hands of a happy God.” What does this look like? Here in this desperate mission field straddling two dark continents it remains to be seen. The clarion call has gone forth and this region cries out for life!

Intimacy with Father God is the result of this paradigm shift. This motivates us to love others extravagantly and there, my friend, is the essence of true evangelism. Preach that from the housetops!
