Update: Harvestime School of Ministry
October 13, 2006 by John Baw
We have just kicked-off our first course in our two-year long “Harvestime” program. This “Bible-school without walls” is a bit of a work-in-progress / leap-of-faith / dummy-run for us. We have six study groups that are going to be covering the course material. Three groups are based in Gibraltar, three in Spain. The idea is for self-paced study to happen at home, combined with a periodic (Maybe monthly although some groups want to meet weekly) get-together of the study group in order to share revelations and what God is speaking to each one.
We are excited, stretched, apprehensive and grateful all at the same time. We choose to embark on this journey not in order to acquire intellectual knowledge, nor even to learn - our DNA’s disctinctives are the fuel and motivation for this bible course. That is, that we seek not information, but encounter; we seek not knowledge but communion; our interest is not in dazzling with brilliance - we seek to be undone by majesty; we seek not to hold our heads up high but to fall facedown and worship.
I have already picked my study partner - a dashing brunette with sparkling emerald eyes that captivated my attention years ago and still never ceases to dazzle me!

[...] In this recent post I mentioned that our distinctive DNA will fuel the Harvestime "Seminary Without Walls" that we are launching. [...]
