Non-Charismatic Sunday!
It is official. I abandoned the 99 ~30 sheep yesterday as I heroically responded to a ‘ministry invitation’ at a mainly somehwat highly super uber-traditional church here on the Rock. [They even have a sign out front boldly declaring themselves to be “Non-Charismatic” !]
It was kind of funny because I was experiencing such contrasts during the service. As we ploughed into the “Evangelical Hymnbook” I kept saying to myself, “How am I going to preach a message on the believer’s armour, on principalities and powers, and get away with it here?!?! How am I NOT going to get lynched!?!?!”
But the good book says that there is a time for everything, and I guess it was not my time for martyrdom because I survived the experience. In any event I had a good time connecting with enemies friends and family 
I even get a feeling that they may want me back!! [There is a God!]
