Waging war in the heavenlies
March 31, 2007

Thursday night saw us covering the 8:00pm-10:00pm 24/7 “Campo de Gibraltar“ House of Prayer (link) time slot. 11 churches have partnered in the region to set-up a 24/7 house of prayer. We did a month-long 24/7 in November 2006, and whilst we obtain premises in order to continue this we all cover our respective slots at our own churches for the time being. We normally cover Thursday evenings and a Spanish brother’s house becomes our HOP for a night.
After a slowish 1 ½ hours, everything happened! We really got into believing for some healing for three dear ones that we are pressing in for: One brother battling cancer, one other brother whose past involvement with drugs took a tremendous toll on his body, and a little two year old who was born with a brain lesion and the doctors say he might not walk. NO! This is not right! Jesus actually went to the Cross for this!
The Holy Spirit really stirred us up. Rather than praying for a miracle we were contending for a realm of authority in the Spirit. More than pressing-in for healing we were going after Divine Health!
Right out of Psalm 91, powerful declarations of GREATER and HIGHER truths (than their circumstances) were spoken over these dear ones for a mighty touch from a Mighty One. I can’t wait for these healings to manifest in order to share the good news with all of you!

Re-digging wells of Revival
March 29, 2007
Spoke on Sunday about honouring past moves of God and Revivals, as honour opens a portal of grace to get what they had.
In Genesis 26 we find Isaac re-digging his father’s wells, before he dug his own and found living (running) water (ref). He then dug his own well and found living (running) water (ref). The living water, caused contention – it always does. You see wells have a water level. You check it out, if the water level drops, then you dig some more reaching newer depths and going after more water. When you hit a well of living water, it means that you have stumbled (?) upon an underground stream. This means you lose control and the water just explodes out of the ground into a fountain.
Living water makes the residents of Gerar very nervous (Gerar means “a lodging place” in Hebrew) – Lets keep things as they always were shall we? I mean we do not really mind you re-digging these wells, it is a noble thing, but do you really have to have living water? Oh for the water without the life!
From there, after several fist-fights, Isaac dug a well in Rehoboth (ref) which means “a broad place”. God will bring you to your own “broad place” in the Kingdom. A place where you carve out a niche of Kingdom authority that God has designated for His glory through you!
It all starts with re-digging past wells of revival that have been filled up with earth for so long. This happens through honour.

Beyond Ridiculous
March 28, 2007

Image disclaimer: this is NOT Gibraltar, far from it.
I leave work around 6:00pm. It is now 7:40pm. I am still stuck in traffic! For crying out loud, Gibraltar is only 2.53 square miles! You would think that somebody in God’s green earth would have thought that having close to 20,000 registered vehicles in Gibraltar, plus 7 million visitors a year, in such a small place is NOT a good idea! ‘Cos it rains. People don’t want to get wet. They ALL take their cars to work …. Let the reader understand.
I am not a happy camper. Over and out.

THE LAW OF THE LID
March 27, 2007
The church has been conditioned to believe in limitations, or “lids”. Limitations become habitual, then they become the norm, then they become safe, then you are dealing with a stronghold. It becomes dangerous for someone to challenge the safety of the “lid” of what is possible in the Lord. The following video shows the training of fleas in a way that closely resembles traditional Christian conditioning – the observation of the “lid”.
What are some “lids” that may condition our walk as ambassadors of the Kingdom? Please view the video and comment away!

Iris Ministries: Emergency Prayer Request Update
March 25, 2007
The following update was received via the Revival Fire email network:
All the Zimpeto children have now returned safely. Friday’s evacuation to Machava was just for a few hours. fortunately there were no more explosions that day.
Some of the missionaries led an incredible prayer and worship time with the older children on Friday night in the playground. The children were all lying in the sand crying out to God in repentance, worship and intercession.
We continue to be amazed by God’s goodness to us as we hear terrible stories of the death and destruction on literally all 4 sides of the Zimpeto centre. (We understand that most of the missiles came in our direction and there was literally nowhere for us to go).
We give thanks for the amazing Mozambican staff team and the missionary team and for those who are visiting us at this time. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to restore order.
Thanks again for your work and for keeping everyone accurately informed.

Iris Ministries: Emergency Prayer Request
March 23, 2007
An urgent prayer request has been posted onto the Iris Ministries Blog. It
is reproduced here in its entirety. The original post can be read at their
blog by clicking
here.
To The Bakers close friends and prayer support,
Heidi asked me to contact you for prayer as bombs have detonated in our capitol city Maputo, Mozambique. Three bombs have already hit our children’s center in Zimpeto. As Heidi was talking on the phone with Norberto (her son who was sobbing), a bomb went off as he was speaking in our center. Apparently, he barely moved out of the way to avoid it. Three bombs hit the center. Our church got hit by a bomb, windows were shattered. Our kids just rallied together in our shattered church, just worshipping and worshipping and praying. However, our children are extremely scared.
The government made a mistake and mixed chemicals in our hot 36 degree (C), (96.8 F) weather. This set off one missile, which had a domino effect. It is complete and utter chaos. There is no way, at this point, to reverse that mistake. I don’t believe any of our children have been hit.
Recently, The Mozambican Government refused to declare a national emergency for the recent flooding of Zambezi River, despite the fact that tens of thousands of lives have been displaced. People were starving, living like animals. Iris is one of the only relief efforts out there. In fact, a few days ago, the government again refused to acknowledge the situation as a national emergency, and even denied duty free status on our twelve containers of food. The good news is that no one is refusing Jesus. Heidi said that everyone within the sound of a preacher’s voice runs to Jesus.
Heidi and I will arrive at the capital, on an emergency flight tomorrow. Please pray. Norberto also has one of the highest ratings of malaria. Pray for him too as he has been leading relief efforts in flood zones for a month.
We are trusting Jesus completely. God recently spoke to Heidi that He was going to shine a global spot light on Mozambique. That as the government refused outside help/attention/relief, God Himself would intervene. That even that which the enemy intended for evil would be used for good. We want our entire nation transformed by the glory of God. Nothing less.
In love with Jesus,
Shara Pradhan (for Rolland & Heidi Baker)

I want you to be tucked under His wings.
March 21, 2007
Last night was a powerful Home Group meeting! 19 showed up at home and between grabbing chairs from the kitchen, and shuffling people around to squeeze them in you get to think “Car Park Full” or “Sorry, come back next week!”. The best thing of all was that Jesus was there! So wait, that would make us 20 instead of 19.
Worship took us to a heavenly place, a place where all cares are just dissolved in His embrace whilst hopes, dreams, faith and destiny are birthed within hearts that now cry “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and glory and blessing” (Rev. 5:12)!
There is a place, under His wings where you find refuge and safety as He covers you with his feathers (Psalm 91:4) In that place, you find yourself protected by Him. It is the place that is closest to his Heart (!) and something else hit me about this place last night (Hit me, as in 18-wheeler coming at you with lights on and horn blaring but you have the deer-in-the-headlights look until WHAM!). When the Sun of Righteousness arises upon those who reverence His name (Malachi 4:2) it (Jesus) brings healing in its wings! Being tucked under His wings is a place where healing is found as He draws you close to Him and there pours out His love upon you.
You have not been overlooked by God my friend, you have been pursued by Him! With a fiery love that burns within His Bosom, He zealously seeks you and gives His love no rest until He finds you! Have you been found by Him yet? He stands at the door and knocks my friend (Rev. 3:20).

Blogging nerdery post
March 20, 2007
In one of the most significant maintenance sessions in its almost two-year history, wildoxgib.com has had an under-the-radar overhaul that was well-past its due date. Complete nerdery possessed me on my lunch break the “IT support department” and the following cool stuff has been accomplished:-
- Updated platform: Wordpress, the blogging platform that I use (sweet!), has been updated to version WO2.1.2. (Yes I know, that was released a LONG time ago!).
- A new “Feed on this” icon on the right sidebar now provides easy access to the blog’s RSS feed in case you want to subscribe using a feed-reader like Google reader.
- The photos, page and coComments page are up and running again. Unbeknown to me they were not functional for quite some time. “coComments”, by the way, is a neat tool that track all of the comments that I leave on other blogs, and displays them so that you can track what I am saying in the Blogosphere.
- My contact details have been removed from the “contact” page and I now have a neat online form that you can fill-out and submit. I have had enough of spammers obtaining my email details via the old contact information.
- All of the site feeds now load using “Feedburner” a service that allows me to monitor my subscribers from a central web page.
- A “Donate” button on the left side bar now connects this function to my Pay Pal account – (Because the man has bills to pay)…so …click and give, click and give!
- A cute little icon of me now appears beside the URL (Web address) – sorry Annabelle, I had to do this.
The maintenance has proved pretty painless up to now. If you find any broken links, or pictures that are missing, or if anything does not work, please let me know and I shall immediately notify Tech Support.

Linkage love
March 19, 2007
Every now and again two wholly complementary entities end up together. This has now happened and the divine encounter between Quentin Miller and wordpress has made the blogging world is so much the richer!
Today we cast the spotlight on the “Re-Leaf Pub” (link). This pub serves “as a literary roadhouse and [offers] the illusive NUTRITIOUS hot fudge sundae. A taste and see encounter.” It certainly is, and is none other than the new blog home of Quentin Miller! I certainly have this place bookmarked and will frequently be visiting this online pub where, rumour has it, hot fudge sundaes are actually good for you.
Quentin…you were born for this! Go serve me some of that gooey stuff!

Quentin Miller: Prophetic workshop
March 17, 2007
We drove Quentin to Seville, Spain yesterday where he will be speaking at another church in his on-the-road one month Spainish tour. We are sorry to see him go, but excited and expectant at what Father God is doing here, and there. We still have the post-encounter-with-Jesus buzz here. It is awesome.
Quentin’s fourth session was a prophetic workshop where he shared on creating a safe environment for the releasing of, and training in, the prophetic among God’s people. The ultimate aim however, was for the prophetic to leave the church walls and be used naturally by the church to fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory (goodness) of God as the waters cover the sea.
Several guidelines were shared that help us see whether the prophetic is really the voice of Father on our vocal chords:
1. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty (cite). God’s commands are not grievous (cite) so God will not bring a word that causes us to be under a heavy thing. His yoke really is easy and his burden really is light (cite). If we are receiving a word that is heavy or condemnatory, then these verses would make it fall outside the parameters of God’s nature here.
2. He who prophesies speaks edification, exhortation and comfort to men (1 Cor. 14:3). New covenant prophesy serves within this tight parameter. The word received and given needs to speak:
- a) Edification. This comes from a root word meaning “architecture”. It is all about speaking to the structures plumbing and foundational makeup of people’s inner workings. It is all about Jesus getting inside the person’s “Wall” to minister His love to the lonely hurting person that lives on the inside. It is all about calling out the destiny in people.
- b) Exhortation. This word means “to choose”. It is like when we were chosen to play for someone’s team when we were little. God is saying “I want you to be on my team! Come work with me. I think you are awesome and I ant you on my team!”
- c) Comfort. These are words that put at rest, or peace. Words that speak of a safe place.
3. Look for the gold. Do not focus on the dirt, focus on the gold. In a recent CNN documentary it was stated that diamond miners have to shift 5 tonnes of dirt for every 1 carat diamond they find! Yet none of them would say, man! Look at this dirt! There is so much dirt here! That is passion! We need to look for the diamonds that God has placed there!
We then had a time of calling out this stuff in people. By using a cool tool, we all prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to bring to our hearts and minds a bible character that we could identify with. Then when someone said what bible character they identified with we all prayed and then called out the attributes of that person’s destiny that were in line with the bible character’s personality etc. This was a good prophetic primer for those uninitiated in the prophetic and something that we will be following up on here.
For the testimony [evidence] of Jesus is the spirit [breath] of prophecy. (Rev. 19:10b – author’s comments)

Quentin Miller: Jesus shows up at Living Waters!
March 14, 2007
Last night was more than awesome! Facing the Giants is a film that will be used mightily by the Lord. The themes of honour, integrity and favour jun run through this film from start to finish. It was amazing. Not every day you go to church to see a film. And to think that some people turned up to church with notebooks! Yep folks, not your typical sermon.
After the movie I just called for an impromptu worship time as I felt it thick in the air. Wow! The presence of God just had many in the room on their knees as we cried out for more of Jesus. After this heavenly intercession had gone on for some time, all heaven broke loose in that place, as waves and waves of supernatural joy hit the place. I actually tried to close the meeting several times, but just gave up when I was unable to speak! I gave someone the microphone and sat down! That went on and on and on and I guess we closed the meting sometime passed midnight!
Tonight we go for round number three! Go Jesus!

Quentin Miller: Side-splitting, rib-hurting, sore-cheeks fun time at church!
March 13, 2007
Last we had our first session with Quentin and one word describes what happened: BLAST! I do not think that I have EVER had SO MUCH fun in church! If such a thing as an anointing to be funny exists, Quentin was sure dripping with it last night! At some points we nearly had to call a break just to have some people recover! Fun in church….wow that’s a novel concept.
Anyways, tonight we are having another session were we shall be watching a movie – yes movies in church … isn’t that something? Facing the Giants will be aired in the Living Waters Cinema tonight. A movie in church…wow that’s a novel concept too.

Revving up for Quentin Miller!
March 7, 2007
Quentin and Docia Miller, of International TEAM Ministries, will be at Living Waters Tabernacle in Gibraltar from the 12th March through the 14th March. It is going to be explosive!
The Millers first entered into ministry in the early 1970’s when they co-founded a drug rehabilitation unit in New Mexico. They felt the call to leave this quickly growing work in 1973 and relocated in Colombia South America involved in agricultural mission work. They remained there until 1986 when they were forced to return to the United States due to heightened aggression from the M-19 subversives located in the mission area. They are now located in Jacksonville Fl and travel widely, ministering especially in the Spanish speaking world.

Gary Oates Conference: Open my eyes Lord.
March 5, 2007
This Friday and Saturday saw “Open My Eyes, Lord”, the Gary Oates conference held in La Linea, Spain, and organized by Bethel Christian Fellowship of Gibraltar.
From the outset there was a real hunger for what the Lord was going to do in these sessions, and those with hungry hearts did not leave disappointed – they left satisfied, and revved up for more of the Lord!
1. Friday afternoon began with an awesome worship by the Bethel peeps. Gary then went on to give a message on seeking the face of the Lord, and how power is just a by-product of seeking His Face! Much of the teaching was centred around soaking in the presence of the Lord, which was an excellent thing, as I believe that not everyone in the conference had previously been exposed to teachings on soaking.
There was a challenge to seek His face over His hand.
2. Saturday morning there was a POWERFUL visitation of the Holy Spirit on the place. Many were on their face and soaking in the presence for a long time, whilst Gary, characteristically I am told, just laid down and asked for more of God. There is not a fibre of religious hype in this precious couple!
3. Kathi’s session on inner healing, and the binding up of the broken heart was awesome, and saw many healed and delivered from deep issues in their lives.

4. Open my Eyes - Gary taught on Saturday on his experiences with angelic activity, and also asked the Lord to release healing angels.
![]()
The result was a line of people up front testifying to healings. A lady had a loud sound, like a volcano erupting in her ear, for 12 years (!) and the Lord just healed her! She said that now she heard better from the healed ear than from the “good one”! As I heard one lady testify of her waist being healed, and she explained that the pain on her waist was not letting her sleep at night, I received that testimony for my life, because a back pain was not letting me sleep at night for some time now, and I have slept like a baby for the past two nights without waking up! No more pain!! A bro from our church had had pain in his hands and joints for 12 years, and had just got used to the pain – he felt heat on his hands as we prayed, and the pain just left, with other parts of his body being healed during the night as he slept! Go God!
This was awesome stuff from an awesome God.
