Waging war in the heavenlies

Thursday night saw us covering the 8:00pm-10:00pm 24/7 “Campo de Gibraltar“ House of Prayer (link) time slot. 11 churches have partnered in the region to set-up a 24/7 house of prayer. We did a month-long 24/7 in November 2006, and whilst we obtain premises in order to continue this we all cover our respective slots at our own churches for the time being. We normally cover Thursday evenings and a Spanish brother’s house becomes our HOP for a night.

After a slowish 1 ½ hours, everything happened! We really got into believing for some healing for three dear ones that we are pressing in for: One brother battling cancer, one other brother whose past involvement with drugs took a tremendous toll on his body, and a little two year old who was born with a brain lesion and the doctors say he might not walk. NO! This is not right! Jesus actually went to the Cross for this!

The Holy Spirit really stirred us up. Rather than praying for a miracle we were contending for a realm of authority in the Spirit. More than pressing-in for healing we were going after Divine Health!

Right out of Psalm 91, powerful declarations of GREATER and HIGHER truths (than their circumstances) were spoken over these dear ones for a mighty touch from a Mighty One. I can’t wait for these healings to manifest in order to share the good news with all of you!
