It really sounded like “Bring a chair”!

OK so on Friday night we had a joint meeting between six churches in Gibraltar.  It was awesome.  This stuff has never happened in Gibraltar before.  There is a good unity developing between us….but I digress…….

The week before the meting I run into this local pastor in the local supermarket and he confirms:  “Meeting is at seven o´clock on Friday”, and “bring a chair”.

I therefore announce last Sunday that everyone has to take a chair to the meeting – I mean, someone even said that the hosting church the local Methodist church was undergoing refurbishment and they had taken all of their chairs out!

So it was NOT “bring a chair” but “bring and share!”

How I went from a potluck to a chair is beyond me, but I tell you one thing, at present I am the laughing stock of Gibraltar.

You’re a hoot! You’ll have to make a trip to THIS side of the pond. Come to our house & you don’t even have to bring a chair, just share :)

@Amelia, Thanks – I just keep on putting my foot in it real bad. I think it must be a spiritual gift or something. Honest, I can write a book….or a blog.
