Holy Schwauzers!

Wednesday was my birthday people! Yes, I would say that I feel as if you had added a few grey hairs to my head, but I am bald, so that would be out of the question. Anyways, I came home today expecting a birthday card but instead I got one of these:

    Happy Birthday! That’s what I use too (I even run web servers on it during development). Do you have a black one or a white one?

    @Mark: Thanks! I got a white one, which serves me just great as out here in Gibraltar you tend to see lots and lots of grey and black laptops but a white mac really stands out. Its the prestige factor you see….. :)
    @Jeremy: Hey thanks for dropping by and congrats on your macbook pro too! Erm…I am a TOTAL newbie with macs! I use windows (I know, I know) and two versions of Linux (Geeky) but the mac is a first for me. Its the Bethel (http://ibethel.org) gravitational pull - made me want one!

    Me too. The white MacBook is great.

    I’ve been using Macs since the late eighties - and also Windows and just about every flavour of Unix / Linux. If I have a choice, and the application / environment is appropriate, then I always choose the Mac.

    Happy birthday John & congrats on the Mac. I just got one, Q’s gravitational pull, not Bethel’s :) His planet is nearer & exerts such “gravity” as you have experienced :) As for birthdays, what are those anyway?? I’m still 39 & no amount of gift shirts will sway my position on the issue. blessings from sunny FL.
