My dust-covered bible admonishes me…

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night. - Joshua 1:8a
According to the margin note on my NKJV bible, the above exhortation can also be translated as telling us to “constantly be in [the Word] day and night”
On the basis of this powerful statement that tells me to constantly be in the Word, day and night, how on earth do I justify leaving my bible to gather dust on the shelf? Meditation in the Word, so this verse says, is a prerequisite for our path to conform to His ways, thus having His blessing overflow everywhere that the sole of our feet tread.
Why am I so slow of heart to believe? Lord, make me a man of your Word, for your Word will ever lead me to meet the Living Word made flesh, Jesus, my hero.
