Nightwatch with the pastors

I am at the prayer-room as I write this with a bunch of Charismaniac pastors all worshipping Jesus! I do not know whether to sing out loud or cry for deliverance
On a serious note, the pastors of all of the churches participating in the one month 24/7 House of Prayer are gathered together tonight for an all-night vigil. These are my thoughts and observations as the minutes and hours tick by:
There are pastors of every flavor, color, tribe and tongue here tonight. God must like variety I guess ‘cos it could not get any more diverse than this if I was to plan it.
There is something marvelous about enjoying the Lord’s presence during the night, and watching a new day dawn, pregnant with promise. It is even enjoyable with the guy beside me that has the most horrible sense of rhythm and beat in the planet. Man, we are singing a simple song, and he cannot even clap his hands on time. Can you get lessons on rhythm anywhere? I’d gladly pay for them.
There is prayer for a sister who has AIDS and it is proposed that God “may” want to heal her, or “may” want her to keep her disease to use her affliction for His glory! I honestly feel like kicking somebody’s teeth in. How in God’s green planet does He get glorified by someone having AIDS……. but I stop myself lest this vigil turn ugly, and this post turns into a rant….and anyway the sun has gone down now so there is not even a place for my anger anymore. That is what you get when fourteen different churches sponsor a House of Prayer. Man, why cannot they all think like me?
Mr. I-cannot-clap-my-hands-in-tune-with-the-rhythm-of-the-song has left, so I guess we are now a much more rhythmically gifted lot. Oh My Lord, I’ve become an acoustic snob haven’t I?
One pastor has now grabbed a guitar and is just softly strumming a heart-felt tune to the Lord - worship is bubbling up and the smoke of incense is rising before the throne of the Almighty. Some are walking around, some are on their face before their God, I am obviously sitting and typing
Spontaneously pastors are gathering around one another and blessing each other, speaking life, and destiny into each other’s churches, ministries and families. This is indeed a Holy moment.
Right now there is silence. No praying, no striving, no asking, just being with Dad. Words are not needed right now - put that guitar down Brother, right now we are staring at His glorious face.
OK this pastor is now on his face, I should say praying, but I am pretty sure he has fallen asleep. Then again, he may be doing some soaking prayer, and those deep breathing sounds that I hear may, just may, be some new and weird manifestation of the Holy Spirit
This brother is now sharing how often we ask God to move in the macro level, and want Him to move in an entire town, city, region, nation - but God really wants to move in the micro level, stopping for the one and ministering the love and compassion of Jesus at the personal level. We can be so busy building an organization and yet never share Jesus with anyone - WOW. OUCH.
OK this is weird. We are now singing “Oh when the saints go marching in” with Spanish guitars and some of the other guys are clapping in a way that makes it all sound as a flamenco hybrid hymn. Whatever Lord!
Look at the picture below - no that is not caused by a dirty lens…..let the reader understand
