Today I have had to do one of the hardest things in my life.

November 20, 2007 by John Baw

Today I have had to do one of the hardest things in my life. I have had to officiate at the funeral of one of my best friends. Diego Ruiz had been battling pancreatic cancer since February and on Sunday at 1:00Am he succumbed to it after an incredible fight. We said our goodbyes to a true warrior in the faith. Glorifying God up to his last breath Diego has left a deep and lasting impression upon many, and touched countless lives. I pray that we be able to honour the spiritual legacy that he has left for us to continue.

Diego, I miss you already man - very very much.

I’m so sorry, John. I have also buried a best friend. We have a great investment on the other side. We await our forever reunion. Peace to your heart & many blessings, Amelia G
