Just came home from spending the afternoon at a new leisure centre that has been inaugurated in Gibraltar. That place rocks! With an ice skating rink, cinema, bowling alley, video games arcade and two or three restaurants there’s fun for all the family in a controlled and safe environment. Gibraltar’s youth desperately needed a place like that. The centre is located within a centuries-old military stone bastion called "King’s Bastion" and as you walk inside you get the impression of a blend between the history of the place, and the modern architecture of the centre. Nowhere else have I seen such a cool combination of white stone, glass and steel. My boys are dying to return!
