Attendance was good. There were some new faces in the crowd this morning. Mainly folks who were checking us out. They got whacked, so hopefully they’ll be back for some more FIRE. Overall there is a sense of excitement that is just growing among the people.
There’s this 6 year old fire [...]

07Sep08
Attendance was way up this Sunday. I was not able to get a head count but that was certainly the impression that I got from where I was. I suspected that come September, attendance was going to climb.
For worship we only had Jaydan this week but he had his new baby with him!!!!! [...]
Attendance was up - summer must be coming to an end
Worship really broke some new ground this morning - One comment / compliment I received from a visitor from the UK was that for a small group such as ours, the sound that comes out of this place in worship really makes you [...]
Sunday mind dump
24Aug08
I arrived late this morning and the worship service had already begun without me
The reason for this delay was that God as downloading stuff right up to 11:00am regarding certain transitions that we as a church have to undergo in order to recover a missional focus.
Worship was FREAKIN’ AWESOME!!! In fact, worship broke me. [...]

There were a few new faces in the crowd - I love it when we have visitors
Made some neat connections with a couple of these visitors - I have this feeling that we will remain in touch and bless each other for the long term
Great worship! - Jaydan and Angel ROCKED the HOUSE! FUEGO!!! Psycoloco!

Sunday wrap-up
13Nov07A little late but you know me………herewith follows a wrap-up of this Sunday’s service:
Worship set:
This Sunday saw us sans worship leader as Angel had gone down with some bug or other and was unwell to attend the meeting. At the church was Martin Hosken of U-Turn fame who promptly shot back home and fetched [...]
Sunday wrap-up
23Oct07I know this is a little late (Usually Sunday wrap-ups are supposed to hit the Internet by Monday morning the latest, I know, I know) but time is just slipping from me and my humongous To-Do list does not seem to spare me any mercy viz. the tick tock of my watch. Anyways for [...]
Turnings within
22Oct07It is becoming increasingly evident for me that the measure of a man is shown by the blessing he leaves behind him. This has been the case with the visit of Tom Rowe to Living Waters. I now have the post-visit hangover. This is that stage where you realize how grateful you [...]
The Kingdom is within reach
12Oct07First meeting with Tom got underway with a good anointing on the worship. Angel(our worship leader) lead us into the presence of the Lord and once there we enjoyed our Father’s embrace as we realized that “here in your presence, we are undone”.
Tom shared a good word from his heart regarding the availability and [...]

At the 24/7 prayer room tonight, the urgency of seeking His face was pressed upon my heart. It is in seeking His face, for the sake of just seeking Him, that the doorway for increased favour upon our lives is opened, and Divine provision for every need of our lives is given abundantly.

I am pumped!
23Sep07Folks we have had an awesome meeting! I’m a little lost for words at the moment, and all I can say is “More Lord!”. God is setting us up for an incredible victory here. Yeah Jesus!
I spoke on the days of restoration of all things. My teaching notes can be found [...]
Getting with His programme
21Sep07We are constantly learning to adjust. Constancy, predictability and comfort are words that God is erasing from our vocabulary in order to prepare us and train us for the seasons to come. One of the key lessons to learn is to be sensitive to the stirrings of the Spirit and know when to [...]

At His right hand……
13Sep07Walking with God means tasting of the pleasures forevermore that are at His right hand. In the church, however there has been a general presumption against pleasure, as if it were wordly. Now there are wordly pleasures, but are’nt they the enemy’s counterfeits? Last time I checked, a counterfeit looks almost exactly [...]
Farewell Bongo-Lady!
12Sep07Tuesday was our last worship set with Nadine a.k.a. “Voz” a.k.a. “Bongo-lady”. She leaves us to finalize her studies in Cardiff, Wales. We sure will miss her contributions to our worship - it has been an awesome season for us and we thank the Lord for having lent her to us! :)

Sunday wrap-up
10Sep07We were very thin on the ground on Sunday, with only a handful turning up for church. This is the skinny on my day:
We had a great worship set. We normally go through seven songs or so, providing about 45 minutes of worship time. This works for us at the moment. Although some do find [...]
In this video, renowned marketing expert Seth Godin delivers a speech at Google where he shared his insights on marketing, excellence and building a remarkable organization. Although the video is fun to watch, and very insightful, it is in the applications that I see to church planting that the gems are there for [...]
Yesterday we had a visiting speaker with us from Madrid, Spain. Our dear friends Fernando & Marisa spent the weekend with us and Fernando ministered a powerful word on Sunday. He shared how it is awesome to have a hunger for the things of God but it is even more awesome to actually [...]
Despatch from the prayer room
25Aug07It is 5:00am as I write this. I am with a group of pastors that have joined together for an all-night prayer vigil at the local Methodist church in the run-up for our 40 days of regional 24/7 prayer in October. Promises are being released, communities are being blessed, and we are [...]
