We must acknowledge that all suffering is valid pain. The suffering in rich nations is internal psychological pain. It is extremely relevant; it is deep. People feel it, and it is just as real as a bloated belly, people starving, or disease and death. If we are to be Jesus’ hands and feet, we need to care about the needs of others – internally and externally. The currency of love in the West is not always money, but it is always time and compassion.
[...] to heal an orphan spirit in [the West] takes love, compassion, a lot of time, and undivided attention toward one another.

We have just finished our first conference! We trust this will be the first of many. For three days, people who were hungry for the Fire of Revival and Transformation gathered in the Ince’s Hall theatre in Gibraltar to press-in for more of the Lord’s presence.
Our three nights saw different expressions of worship, from local sensation U-Turn leading the first night, to the awesome Jaydan Gomila (Associate Pastor and worship leader at Living Waters Church) together with Martin Hosken, leading the second night, and Dutch group “Syncopate” bringing a fresh and wild sound the third night! Wow!!
Our speaker for this conference was Mattheus Van der Steen, a Revivalist who is being used mightily to release God’s glory over the nations. His ministry, Touch, Reach and Impact the Nations (TRIN) is instrumental in bringing Revival in Holland and other nations as well as in the care of widows and orphans in third world countries. With a most powerful anointing He exhorted us to go “lower still” and keep a heart of a child before God. That is the only way to keeping the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
We saw many catching this fire and being powerfully touched by God. After the final impartation service, I believe a fire has been ignited in men’s lives, a fire that cannot be put out, a fire that will spread and change a whole city, a region, nations and continents.
If you were blessed in any way during this conference, please email your testimonies to Jaydan at jaydan@livingwatersgib.com.

Friday is for friends here at the WildOx Blog, and so today we turn the spot light on Pastor Carl Thomas, of Revival Blog fame. Yesterday we managed to connect via Skype and we spoke for over 45 minutes!! We just clicked immediately in that, “It feels like I’ve known you for years” way.
Carl recently planted The Mission, a Spirit-filled, multi-cultural church in Delray Beach, Florida, and is going for it! We managed to share a little on what God is doing through our respective ministries:
- We shared a little on our personal histories and it is funny how we seem to be at the same place insofar as this is concerned.
- There are big differences in the respective cultures where we are working, and therefore our approaches to church planting may be different.
- We discussed the value of Networking and discussed how we can help each other in this regard
- We shared on Revival-related stuff – that stuff just lights my FIRE! ….as it does Carl’s I can tell you that much!
- We then prayed for each other and it was really cool – here we were, connecting via the miracle that is Skype, and praying and speaking words of life over each other!!!! Is that cool or what?
- Carl is going to start a Revival Podcast soon (C’mon!!!!) so stay tuned to this spot!
I came away amazed at the fact that we are both in very similar places ministry-wise, despite being thousands of miles away and working in very different settings. We agreed to keep in touch this way – Skype really offers an awesome opportunity to network, share with and learn from gifted and talented leaders and church planters.
If you are a Pastor or ministry leader, you should be doing this too.

It is 5:00am as I write this. I am with a group of pastors that have joined together for an all-night prayer vigil at the local Methodist church in the run-up for our 40 days of regional 24/7 prayer in October. Promises are being released, communities are being blessed, and we are pressing-in for more of the Lord.
We have kicked off the night by viewing George Otis Jnr’s “Transformations I” video – awesome stuff. That has really got us fired up for the rest of the night! Man that video is awesome! There is a shift that needs to take place from seeing yourself as a pastor of a church to seeing yourself as a steward of a city for the Lord. We are called to pastor cities, regions and nations. It is time to crawl back out from under the floorboards and regain the spiritual ownership of the land.
Photos will be posted soon.
Back to the payer room – over and out.

Dreaming with God: Secrets to redesigning your world through God’s creative flow (Bill Johnson)
No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. – John 15:15
Several paradigm shifts take place in our hearts as we embrace this promotion.
First, what we know changes , as we gain access to the heart of the Father. His heart is the greatest resource of information we need to function successfully in all of life. Jesus paid the price of our access to the Father, thereby granting us the freedom that comes from the truth we gain through that unlimited knowledge of His heart. Liberty is found in this phase of the promotion.
Second, our experience changes. Encounters with God as an intimate are quite different from those of a servant. His heartbeat becomes our heartbeat as we celebrate the shift in our own desires. The realm of His presence becomes our greatest inheritance, and divine encounters our greatest memories. Personal transformation is the only possible result from these supernatural experiences.
Third, our function in life radically changes. Instead of working for Him, we work with Him. We work not for His favor but from His favor. In this position H entrusts us with more of His power, and we are naturally changed into His likeness more and more.
Fourth, our identity is radically transformed. Our identity sets the tone for all we do and become. Christians who live out of who they are cannot be crippled by the opinions of others. They don’t work to fit into other people’s expectations, but burn with the realization of who the Father says they are.
The issue of working from favour rather than for favour is critical in the realization that you live in a Father-Son relationship rather than a Master-servant one. When I was young[er] I often helped out in my family’s business. Being the son of the owner immediately gives you a differentperspective on things than even the most loyal of employees. “Ownership” of an estate, an inheritance or a legacy does change you from thinking in terms of performance to thinking in terms of stewardship.
Because you are His friend (And because you are His son), the liberty to fully commune with Gods heart opens for us a realm of experience and encounter with God that transforms how we think and live. No longer do I work to earn my approval, I now work because God’s unrelenting passion has pursued my affections to such a degree that it has transformed me into a burning one that will not rest until I awake in His likeness. This, my friend, is what creation groans to see.
